I have had a sweet tooth lately…not just a craving but where I could eat a whole bad of candy if you put it in front of me. I came across this recipe from The Fit Life and thought it was an interesting combination. I love chickpeas…but in hummus….so I was curious to see how this would turn out. They were really good! I cut them into 16 bars then froze some for treats when I am craving that sweet treat! I will use this as a treat swap when needed!
All of the ingredients are from one of my favorite stores…Aldi’s! I love this store. Although our vanilla is from Mexico. Can’t beat Mexican vanilla! I made a few changes from the original recipe.
