Skillet/Oven Potatoes
Looking for an alternative to biscuits and gravy? Try these skillet/oven potatoes with your sausage gravy.

  1. Preheat your oven to 425 degrees.
  2. Heat the fat into a cast iron skillet on the stove.
  3. Add the onions, potatoes, salt and pepper.
  4. Cook for around 10 minutes on the stove Stir frequently so the potatoes and onions do not stick.
  5. Next put the skillet into the oven and cook for 15 minutes.

These potatoes were great substitute for biscuits. Luckily I had leftover for breakfast the next day.  The potatoes would also be great as a side dish for dinner.
